Long arginine 3 insulin-like growth factor 1. A modified version of IGF-1 with a 13-amino acid extension and an arginine substitution at position 3, giving it a much longer half-life than native IGF-1. Promotes muscle hyperplasia (new muscle cell formation), enhances protein synthesis, increases nitrogen retention, and improves nutrient partitioning. Does not bind strongly to IGF binding proteins, making it highly bioavailable.
Inject SubQ or IM (bilaterally into target muscle for localized growth). Post-workout on training days, morning on rest days. Start at 20mcg and titrate up. Split dose bilaterally if targeting specific muscles. Monitor blood glucose — can cause hypoglycemia. Do not use with food containing sugar pre-injection.
