Selective MC1R agonist. Stimulates eumelanin production for UV-independent tanning with lower risk of side effects vs MT2. Originally developed for erythropoietic protoporphyria (EPP). More selective than Melanotan II — primarily targets skin pigmentation without significant sexual or appetite effects.
Inject SubQ. Loading: 1mg daily for 10-14 days. Maintenance: 1-2mg 2-3x/week. Sun exposure enhances results but is not required. Less nausea than MT2. Monitor moles regularly.
